Job Details Level: Entry Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Masters Degree Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $92,000.00 Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Education Manage annual/triennial and IEPS Develop relationships with CSE and CBST Administrators Notify staff of CSE meetings (including triennials, annual reviews & initial meetings) Ensure necessary documents (behavior logs, attendance records, etc.) are obtained in advance of IEP meetings Facilitate timely evaluations and meetings with CSE (including triennials, annual reviews & initial meetings) Managing student enrollment data sheets/workbooks Review packets for potential students and complete the Intake/ Enrollment spreadsheet Email correspondence to CBST and parents Notify staff when new students are beginning Complete the SIF and initiate the new student protocol meeting Keep IEPs up to date, coordinate initial write-up and revisions, and ensure quality control Maintain current special education rosters and disseminate them to instructional staff Perform other duties as needed and defined by the Site Administration Qualifications A valid master’s degree in special education A valid NYS teaching certificate in special education At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle/high school Excellent oral and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus Good working knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft, databases, excel, internet, etc.) Willingness to learn and grow professionally
