Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children who have diverse learning needs, including autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique requirements of each student, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Dual certified pre-K-3/ special Ed certified teacher15 students in a neighborhood setting that is overseen by a daycare provider. They must have pre-K-3 certification.6 hour day- 8-2pm scheduleResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students with special education requirements.Assess students’ progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive educational experience for each child.Provide mentorship and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.Utilize effective communication strategies to engage with students, families, and staff members.Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior while ensuring confidentiality.Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and builds self-esteem among students.Stay updated on best practices in special education, behavioral health, and early childhood education.ExperienceProven experience working with children who have autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for special education.Strong mentoring skills to guide students in their academic journey.Background in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.Proficiency in math instruction and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.Excellent proofreading skills for preparing educational materials and documentation.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students by providing them with the support they need to thrive academically and socially.For any query you may call Vanit Kumar 408-212-735
