FALL OPENING FOR A SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER/CASE MANAGER

The Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking full-time Special Education Teacher/Case Managers for our Mast Way Elementary School.

SPECIFIC CORE FUNCTION:

The Special Education Teacher/Case Manager position in our extended resource room program. Seeking a teacher with experience in specialized instruction, academic and behavioral support, and paraeducator supervision. Will be the case manager for a program that includes a large team of professionals including paraeducators, SLPs, OT, School Psychologist, BCBA, nursing, etc. Must possess strong communication, collaborative, and organizational skills. ORCSD provides mentoring and additional professional development and support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Master’s Degree preferred)
• NH certification in General Special Education (507.4)
• Training and experience with implementing and supporting students with behavioral support plans.
• Skills, knowledge, and competencies related to principles and practices of Special Education
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Specialized training/certification in reading and math interventions such as, but not limited to, Wilson, LIPS, Orton-Gillingham, SPIRE, Lively Letters, Seeing Stars, On-Cloud Nine, Edmark, Number Worlds
