OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs. This role involves developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing tailored instructional strategies, and collaborating with parents and other educators to support student success. A background in early childhood education or experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE

• A degree in Special Education or a related field is required; certification in special education is preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children or in a private school setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with deaf education and library services can enhance the learning experience for students.
• Proven ability to work effectively with children on the autism spectrum, utilizing appropriate strategies and interventions.
• Knowledge of Montessori methods or early childhood education principles is advantageous.
• Strong proofreading skills are essential for developing clear educational materials and documentation.
