A K-12 educational setting in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for full-time contract positions throughout the school year. These roles provide the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and social development by supporting their unique learning needs.

Position 1: Middle School Special Education Teacher

• Self-contained classroom serving 3 students (including 2 siblings)
• Collaboration with 2 paraeducators to provide individualized support
• Essential experience in behavior management
• Working hours: 8:40 am to 4:40 pm

Position 2: Elementary School Special Education Teacher

• Support for 6-8 students through inclusion and pull-out services
• Must have experience working with students with Autism
• Promote inclusive education by collaborating with general education staff
• Working hours: 7:40 am to 3:40 pm

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Proven experience in managing behavioral challenges (for middle school role)
• Experience with Autism spectrum disorder (for elementary role)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with paraeducators and other staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities include developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing targeted instructional strategies, tracking student progress, and collaborating with families and school teams to ensure each students success.
