Seeking a Special Education Teacher for a K-12 school in Washington, PA, for the upcoming school year contract. This position offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to K-12 students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress.
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies to address varying learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with special education regulations and reporting requirements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of current special education laws, best practices, and assessment tools.
