Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing individualized academic programming for students with moderate to severe disabilities. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver instruction that meets each student’s unique learning profile and social/emotional needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and adapt curriculum based on each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Collaborate with clinical and educational team members to integrate therapeutic and educational goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions
