A full-time Intervention Specialist position is available at a K8 school in Cincinnati, OH, dedicated to supporting K5 students through specialized academic interventions. This role focuses on delivering tailored instructional services primarily via pull-out sessions, with some push-in classroom support as specified in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The assignment runs from ASAP through May 26, 2026, with a daily schedule of 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized academic instruction aligned with individual IEP goals.
  • Conduct pull-out interventions and offer push-in support when required.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to foster student achievement.
  • Develop and modify instructional materials to meet various learning needs.
  • Maintain precise records of services, progress monitoring, and ensure IEP compliance.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaboration sessions.
  • Implement accommodations, modifications, and evidence-based strategies within the classroom.
  • Uphold a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License required.
  • Experience working with K5 student populations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
