JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our 6th grade ICT class.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), utilizing effective teaching strategies, and collaborating with families and other professionals to support student success. The Special Education Teacher will work closely with students who may have disabilities, autism, or other developmental challenges.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience working with children in a classroom setting or childcare environment is essential.
  • Background in special education, early childhood education, or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other special needs is highly desirable.
  • Experience in lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom experience is crucial.
  • Knowledge of learning technology and its application in the classroom setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
