Description Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our multidisciplinary team, providing individualized education to hospitalized students. This role plays a vital part in supporting students' academic, emotional, and developmental growth during treatment, with instruction tailored to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the classroom environment, including teacher assistants and students Develop and implement flexible, individualized lesson plans that support academic and personal growth Collaborate with clinical, medical, and nursing teams to align education with treatment goals Provide small group and one-on-one instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs Monitor, assess, and document student progress in alignment with IEP goals and hospital policies Support students through transitions and discharge planning, maintaining communication with families and home schools Foster a positive, structured learning environment that supports behavior management and engagement Maintain accurate academic and behavioral records as required Why Join Us?
