We’re seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide academic and behavioral support to elementary students. Our team is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Special Education Teacher to become part of our elementary school community. This full-time position centers on providing tailored academic and behavioral support to learners with diverse challenges and strengths. The right candidate will demonstrate instructional excellence, a team-oriented mindset, and a genuine dedication to fostering a classroom culture where every student feels supported in their academic, social, and emotional development. In this role, you will support a caseload of elementary students by providing targeted academic instruction in core areas such as reading, writing, and mathematics. You will develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure they align with both student needs and district expectations, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as necessary. Beyond academics, you will offer instruction in key developmental areas including social skills, emotional and behavioral regulation, and executive functioning to support whole-child growth. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with general education teachers, families, and related service professionals to build and maintain inclusive learning environments that promote student success and engagement. Requirements Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a comparable educational role, with a solid background in supporting students with diverse learning needs and disabilities. A valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license is required. Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, though a master’s degree in Special Education or a related field is preferred.
