JOB SUMMARY:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Speech and Language or a related field. Explicit training in Applied Behavior Analysis, Discrete Trial Teaching and Data Collection. One (1) year minimum, supervised experience working with Child(ren) with autism spectrum disorders. Proven ability to independently plan lessons, monitor and adjust during lessons, anticipate/manage maladaptive behavior, reinforce positive behavior, document and maintain clear data and consult with other team members.
Working Conditions: Work period is determined via work calendar by Special Ed Coordinator. Must be able to commit to a work schedule that runs during a 12 month time period and includes Summer School.
Salary is : $30.35 per hour (Ed Trainers work a 7.5 hour work day, 37.5 hour work week during the school year, hours vary during ESY)
