Frank Beer Distributors in Middleton, WI is now hiring a Special Events and Draft Sales Representative. The Special Events and Draft Sales Representative is responsible for the selling and managing all phases of special events. Requirements Responsibilities: Make sales calls to designated accounts. Secure and expand distribution in assigned account base. Develop and maintain positive relationships with accounts. Collect money for outstanding invoices. Keep up to date on customer credit status. Maintain knowledge of product portfolio and promotions. Meet/exceed monthly quotas and distribution objectives. Participate in sales meetings and on-site training. Work with customers to determine the draft, merchandising and sponsorship requirements of an event. Plan, schedule and order merchandising materials and equipment for special events. Deliver, set up, perform maintenance tasks and pick up draft equipment at events. Work or schedule others to staff an event to stock kegs or cases. Maintain open communication with the point of contact for special events. Diagnose, troubleshoot and solve draft system problems and report to management. Maintain inventory and manage draft hardware and equipment in a cost effective manner. Ensure that all equipment and product is in good working condition. Ensure compliance with all company procedures and government regulations and attain copies of municipal licensing when needed. Develop and maintain a full understanding of all draft systems and components and keep current with product updates and new technology in draft systems and service. Understand proper cleaning techniques for cleaning draft lines as well as how to replace parts as needed Monitor and fill out all promotional request forms, competitive forms, and reimbursement forms. Work evenings, weekends and holidays on a scheduled or on call basis. Perform sales relief duties on regular daily sales routes as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as persuasion skills Excellent interpersonal skills; Able to easily build rapport with others Ability to read and write in English Goal oriented, focused, and assertive Strong knowledge of beer industry and its retail consumers is preferred Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Basic computer skills are required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance is required One to two years previous experience in related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier or beverage industry) preferred Draft Technician Certification preferred Experience operating a vehicle while pulling and maneuvering multiple size trailers is preferred CDL license is preferred We offer a professional, safe and friendly work environment as well as a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay structure.
