Job Description Identifies the portfolio of active and prospective donors from pipeline activity including fundraising and stewardship events, and outpatient/inpatient lists. Cultivates a "culture of philanthropy" within the community and faculty. Job Responsibility Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards an active portfolio of donors and prospects with gift capabilities ranging from five to six-figures. Participates in the development of long and short-term strategic plans to build donor pipeline in pediatrics. Collaborates with internal stakeholders such as the faculty and administration of the division of pediatric cardiology (among other divisions) and identifies and transitions donors with high potential to support Cohen Children’s. Collaborates with the leadership and internal stakeholders at the foundation to identify and implement strategies for potential donors from fundraising events, cold prospect lists, physician contacts and inpatient/outpatient lists, and to grow volunteer opportunities. Partners with management; develops relationships with faculty to create a grateful patient contact list. Participates in committees responsible for key fundraising events such as the Cohen Children’s Circle Golf Classic; utilizes committee structure to increase pipeline and build donor base. Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Drafts and prepares all written correspondence related to prospects and donors in the portfolio such as donor acknowledgements, briefings, proposals, and stewardship materials.
