Our Special Hazards team within Arup’s Resilience, Security & Risk (RSR) department is looking for a Senior Engineer to drive impactful projects in fire safety and special hazards. This role focuses on providing innovative fire safety solutions for high-risk sectors including data centres, laboratories, and renewable energy projects. If you have a strong background in fire risk, dangerous goods, and fire consequence assessments, we invite you to be part of a leading multidisciplinary team.

• Expertise in fire risk, dangerous goods, and process safety, particularly in high-risk environments.
• Recognised qualifications in Engineering, preferably Fire Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in managing fire safety projects involving hazardous materials and fire consequence assessments.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and drive client-centric outcomes.
• Commitment to continuous learning, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
