A forward thinking and supportive SEN school in Brent, London, is looking for full-time qualified SEN Teachers with QTS to join their expert team starting now and for September. There is a great community and ethos around the school, and they are looking for a passionate and nurturing teacher who will lead an engaged and flexible team, supporting children with a wide range of needs, primarily, Autism, SLD and PMLD across KS1 to KS4.
The role would be leading a small class of 6 - 9 children, with full planning, assessing and marking expectations. The school offers a curriculum and wrap around support for pupils that is bespoke to their needs and abilities. What’s paramount to them is ensuring that pupils experience a curriculum which is concrete (experiential), pictorial or abstract depending on their need.
This leading SEN school prides itself on valuing creative, skilled and passionate staff, who are dedicated in nurturing the best outcomes for the pupils. This school has fantastic opportunities for professional development & continuous support from the senior leadership team and specialist colleagues. Daily rates can be negotiated with the school based on UK experience which usually include an SEN point. Experience in SEN is preferred, but not essential as this supportive school is happy for the ‘right’ person to learn through doing and on the job. This is a great opportunity to get into an expert setting where you can challenge yourself and make a real difference to those who need it most.
The school’s hours of this role are 8.30am - 4pm.
Daily rates start at £155 but are dependent on UK experience and usually include a SEN point. If a long term position is secured following your trial, this can be negotiated and you will be paid to scale. If you have any questions on this please speak to us and we can advise on relevant pay bands based on your experience.
