This renowned boys’ school is dedicated to supporting students aged 6 to 18 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, as well as special educational needs (SEN).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll join a supportive, experienced team committed to making a meaningful difference. No formal qualifications are required—just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping students succeed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support boys aged 6 to 18 with SEMH needs, SEN, and mental health challenges.
  • Apply behaviour management strategies to foster a positive, structured learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support during lessons, activities, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and therapists to create a holistic support system for students.
  • Help maintain a calm and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK or hold a relevant work visa.
  • Provide details for reference checks before employment.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (which we can assist with)
