Get to Know Your Team: Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region’s Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Cardiologist and the Director of the Cath Lab, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures. Produce quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures. Collect patient data and document procedure Perform all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures Performance Improvement Participation Qualifications Job Requirements: Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry-eligible and must obtain within 90-days of hire BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire and maintain as current Attend 6 lead EKG course within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Cardiologist and Cath Lab Director, the technologist performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures. This includes producing quality images while adhering to safety measures, collecting patient data, and assisting physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
