Location: Prince George, BC
Employment Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week

THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Communications assistance with CSFS projects and services of interest to partners, including but not limited to: communities served, public audiences, community groups, interest and advocacy groups, various levels of government, and media.
  • Assisting in the implementation of strategic communications priorities established within CSFS’ strategic and operational plans.
  • Providing communications support to significant projects both internal and external to CSFS.
  • Assisting in community relations, engagement and consultation activities and health promotion and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of professional communications experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in a healthcare, child and family services, government or government organization, not-for-profit or corporate environment is considered an asset.
  • Membership in and/or accreditation from IABC or CPRS would be considered an asset.
