EY is looking for talented professionals with experience in Insurance, Banking, and Wealth & Asset Management to join our Special Project Team — a uniquely focused, offshore audit practice supporting EY teams around the world. In this role, you will: • Lead or be part of a global audit engagement team - virtually - working with EY teams in Europe and US sub-regions• Work with world-class audit tools and proprietary EY technology platforms applying the globally accepted audit methodology• Get an in-depth understanding of the ﬁnancial services industry and be trained by experts in the ﬁeld• Work full time from the comfort of your home based in Sri Lanka• Gain opportunities for short-term/long-term secondments or permanent relocation to offshore EY ofﬁces, if you’re a high performer Key Roles and Responsibilities:• Performing complex and speciﬁc audit procedures, while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies• Plan, conduct and manage audit and assurance engagements in accordance with relevant international accounting and auditing standards• Proactively building relationships that support our ability to provide tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development; and • Prioritize and handle multiple assignments in challenging environments Skills and Attributes for Success:• Strong leadership and communication skills• Experience in audit and assurance services, having used audit software applications• A passion for delivering exceptional client service What’s in it for you?We offer a ﬁxed term employment opportunity while supporting the completion of your training requirements with leading professional body such as CASL or ACCA.
