JOB SUMMARY
Filling two vacancies.
NOTE: This vacancy is being announced at two different job classes Engineer Senior and/or Engineer 2 Graduate. The final class is dependent on the successful applicant’s qualifications.
This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
To assist the Provisions Engineer in the Special Provisions Unit; to prepare Special Provisions for State and Maintenance Transportation Construction proposal documents where the plans and standard specifications do not adequately set forth the intent of the contract; to review State and Maintenance Construction Plans to ensure conformance with MnDOT’s engineering standards and policy; and to perform other additional duties as necessary for proper function of the Special Provisions Unit.
