Special Testing Services Coordinator - Baltimore, MD (REMOTE) PST: Monday to Friday, 7am to 330pm EST: Monday to Friday, 9am to 530pm or 10am-630pm   Pay range: $23.87 - $35.80 / hour Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Obtains and manages any required documentation as required by state or other regulatory entities for designated testing. Required to determine preauthorization, informed consent requirements and other documentation needs from a variety of insurance plans, payers and other governing sources.  Handles all payer, physician and patient contact received by telephone and in writing.  Troubleshoots both complex medical/technical compliance and routine requests.  Deals with the coordination and review of laboratory testing and billing processes.
