Primary Duties & Responsibilities • The CNC machinist Engineer is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and optimizing CNC machines to manufacture precision components. They also support process improvements, troubleshooting, and ensuring products meet high-quality standards in production environments. o Set up CNC machines (milling, grinding, EDMs) according to specifications and blueprints o Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine parameters. o Operate CNC equipment to machine parts with high accuracy. o Inspect in-process parts to ensure conformance to specifications using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other precision measuring tools. o Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling paths as necessary to optimize production. • Provide technical expertise and experience in the field of practical precision machining and manufacturing such as multi- milling, EDM, precision grinding, finishing processes, CNC machining operation for technical problem solving, process troubleshooting… Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology, Manufacturing engineering or equivalent specialization. • 2+ years’ experience in CNC machining, precision machining and CAD/CAM/CNC techniques. • CAD & CAM software: Proficient in CAD/ CAM Master CAM, EDM machine, Laser machine programming … • Knowledge of CNC precision machining, advanced manufacturing processes, materials, Manufacturing facilities, including equipment handling, facilities. • Experience with documentation and ERP system. Skills • Knowledge of manufacturing processes. • Capability to successfully work with employees in a multi-cultural, global team environment • Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues involving external and internal priorities • Know how to dissect drawings from 3D to 2D files. Make drawings from 3D to 2D files. Make drawings for each work. • Understand and analyze GD&T tolerances and machining conditions to achieve tolerances. • Understand and calculate Fixture errors to achieve machining tolerances • Proficient in understanding and using G-codes for Milling, Drilling, Thread Machining, Machining and Macro Measurement. • There is the ability to program directly on the CNC machine or on the CAM software. Set up tooling, machining materials, jigs, setup run and check the dimensions and tolerances of the product according to the requirements of the drawing. • Understand the principle and operation of milling and grinding machines with 4 axes or more (Knowing EDM machining, grinding, grinding and laser is an advantage). • Have knowledge, understanding, and experience of 2 years or more in precision machining. Experience operating one of the following types of CNC machining machines: EDM, precision grinding, ultra-precision grinding (lapping), and laser machining. • Have the knowledge and experience to differentiate the properties of metallic and non-metallic materials, composites. Understand the technical fundamentals and processing technology related to machining. • Has over 2 years of experience. Able to set up fixtures, tools, and machining programs for test runs. Needs to adjust tools and fixtures. Can operate 3 to 5 axis CNC machines. • Capture and analyze the losses and wastes in the machining and production process. Optimize the use of fixtures, cutting tools, and propose improvements to reduce production costs and product machining time. • Managing people, organizing and arranging work in the production line. Managing work efficiency. Improving productivity. Skills in reporting production work. Good communication, team spirit, employee engagement. Creating motivation .
