Our expertise includes advanced research systems, maritime solutions, sophisticated sensor technologies and payload delivery capabilities.    Job Summary The Accounting Specialist II (Accounts Payable) role supports our finance team and is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.   Responsibilities and Tasks * Review and process invoices for accuracy and proper approvals. * Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts. * Prepare and execute check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. * Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies. * Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records. * Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues. * Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits. Education, Experience, Licenses and Certifications * High school diploma required, associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. * Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable or similar role.   Skills and Abilities * Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large ERP software packages, Oracle preferred. * Detail oriented. * U.S. Citizenship is required.
