They independently organize and manage air freight import shipments in accordance with our quality requirements, taking into account economic and customer-oriented aspects.
They assist with import customs clearance, process the shipping ledger, and are responsible for the documentation and invoicing of shipments.
They schedule the delivery of goods, independently negotiate rates with transport companies, and are responsible for complaint management.
They support and advise their customer base along the transport chain, create ad-hoc offers and correspond internationally with our DACHSER branches and our partners.
Qualifications
You have successfully completed training as a merchant (m/f/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable commercial vocational training and also have sound freight forwarding experience.
They possess proven customs knowledge.
They are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
They enjoy working in a team, act responsibly, and have an open and engaging manner.
