Therefore, we are looking for a Specialist and Process Owner for Materials & Processes Engineering to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment including high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMMs) and Precision Milling Machine (PMMs) and heat treatment oven from a process engineering perspective. You will also stay current with emerging technologies to optimize process performance and participate in automation projects like our nearly completed Tool Management system for CNC cutting tools.
As our new Specialist and Process Owner for metal- and composites machining, metal forming and hardening, you will be responsible for manual operations (drilling, countersinking) and Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machining of composites and metals, sheet metal forming, and metal heat treatment processes within our production flow. You will moreover be responsible for ensuring these processes meet customer requirements and industry standards, troubleshoot process and material issues.
You will join a diverse team of 5 Specialists and Senior Specialists with varied backgrounds in gender, nationality, age, and education. While each member manages specific responsibilities, we maintain a collaborative approach where every challenge is shared by the team. The Materials & Processes (M&P) department interfaces extensively across the organization, handling a diverse workload. Despite our busy environment, we prioritize work-life balance through flexible scheduling and remote work options several days per week. Our culture actively respects personal boundaries while maintaining high professional standards.
