Specialist Anesthesia is a qualified Anesthesiologist responsible for delivery of quality anesthesia and sedation services to all surgical and non-surgical patients.
She/he shall assist the planning and organization of anesthesia service and quality assurance of the anesthesia services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. As a member of Anesthesia staff he/she will assist the planning and organizing of Anesthesia Department as per the clinical practice guidelines.

• 1.2. As a member of the hospital medical staff, Specialist anesthesiologist is subject to and must observe, as well as be accorded the benefits of, the medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations generally applicable to all physicians granted privileges in the clinic.
• 1.3. An anesthesiologist with full staff privileges he/she must share on a fair and equitable basis in the responsibility for assuring 24-hour-a-day, 7day-a-week availability of anesthesia care. 
• 1.4. Participating in the development of, and enforcing policies and procedures relating to the functioning of anesthesia personnel and the administration of anesthesia throughout the hospital
