Job Description: The L3Harris Enterprise Data and AI team is seeking an individual with strong working knowledge in application development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI to support the effective development of key AI offerings and capabilities. This role includes overseeing enterprise AI services, ensuring adherence to security standards, building AI solutions in cloud-based environments, and ensuring AI integration with reliable data.
This position will support the organization’s AI/ML frameworks, focusing on AI design, development, documentation, and user training. The goal is to ensure seamless adoption of AI into all possible work streams, thus directly impacting the lives of all employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • 2 years of experience with designing and deploying AI solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure and/or Palantir.
  • 1 year of experience in fine-tuning AI models and/or developing AI agents.
  • 1 year of experience in building and designing AI solution integration with enterprise systems.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C# or other scripting languages for AI/ML processing and automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), AI Search, and Document Intelligence is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in GCCH Azure Environment.
  • General networking knowledge to set up secure and efficient communication channels between various components of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledgeable in API integration and development.
  • Experience with Agile principles and development processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.
  • Passionate about continuous learning and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Certified Microsoft Azure AI Engineer.
    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $78,000K - $145,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust AI/ML solutions to ensure reliable decision-making across the enterprise.
  • Sustain AI enterprise offerings by orchestrating workflows and monitoring the overall health of AI solutions to ensure continuous availability and performance.
  • Create, update, and optimize AI models, datasets, and transformations to align with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring consistent and correct data flow from source systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold security standards and ensure accurate data is available for use.
  • Utilize AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) to establish data connections to source applications, by extracting and loading data that meets functional and technical specifications.
  • Utilize software frameworks such (e.g., Semantic Kernel, Prompt Flow, LangChain) to integrate LLM’s into applications.
  • Develop and manage AI model cleansing, consolidation, and integration mechanisms to support big data analytics at scale.
  • Build visualizations using AI tools and assist business users with testing, troubleshooting, and documentation creation, including AI service maintenance guides.
