AEMO at the Heart of Energy
AEMO is Australia’s independent energy system and market operator and system planner. AEMO’s purpose is to ensure safe, reliable and affordable energy today, and enable the energy transition for the benefit of all Australians. Australian governments are now committed to a net zero economy for Australia by 2050 and our vision is to enable this. We have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to co-design the future of our energy systems, and our core values revolve around character, commitment, and connection. Join us as we contribute to this significant transition in the energy sector.
About the role
AEMO’s Customer and Digital Services (CDS) engages stakeholders and customers providing management, governance, and assurance across operational Digital services. CDS provides service designs, service transition; service operations, customer services; communications and engagement; risk, audit, and compliance; service lifecycle and continuity; and continuous improvement across the Program Workstreams and Projects.
You will work with program delivery leads and colleagues across Digital to ensure that IT assets, including hardware, software, virtual machines and cloud services, are accurately tracked and managed in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycle. The role supports the integrity, completeness and currency of CMDB records by maintaining accurate configuration item (CI) data, relationships, ownership and lifecycle status, enabling improved service visibility, impact assessment, operational decision-making, audit readiness and effective management of change across the technology environment.
This is a 14-month fixed term contract that can be based in multiple locations.
Please note that to be eligible for this role you require Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance.
