The role is based at Skretting’s headquarters in Stavanger, Norway. The work will take place in our innovative and radical Research Centre, the Skretting Bubble. What you’ll do You will work at the heart of our biotech operations, supporting research & development of new products as well as advancing knowledge about aquatic animal health. Conduct analytical tests within R&D projects and support assessment of research results Perform in vitro molecular biological (real-time PCR, microarray), biochemical, and cell culture assays Support the implementation, development and validation of new bioassays Record data, observations and conclusions accurately in relevant systems Carry out calibration, first‑line maintenance and care of laboratory equipment Propose improvements to quality, efficiency and laboratory processes What you bring: Holding a master’s degree in molecular biology /biochemistry/cellular biology/biotechnology/biomedicine Experience from a R&D laboratory environment Experience with real-time PCR analyses Experience in cell culture Experience in experiment design and statistics is advantageous Willingness to take responsibility and speak up when quality is at stake Who we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality, works accurately, and feels ownership for the results they deliver.
