Job Description 1) Supermarket Acquisition Identify, prioritize, and approach supermarket chains and independent grocery stores. Lead end-to-end deal cycle: prospecting → pitch → negotiation → contract → handover. Close partners with strong potential for q-commerce (assortment depth, delivery readiness, pricing competitiveness). Secure commercial terms aligned with marketplace profitability and growth. 2) Q-Commerce Readiness Assess partner operational capability for on-demand fulfillment. Align on assortment strategy (top SKUs, high-frequency items, private label, promos). Ensure partners can support fast picking, stock availability, and order accuracy. 3) Strategic Portfolio Building Fill geographic and category gaps in supermarket coverage. Balance acquisition between: Strategic chains and high-performing local supermarkets 4) Cross-Functional Execution Work with onboarding, operations, and catalog teams for go-live readiness. Align with marketing on launch campaigns and in-app visibility. Coordinate with finance/legal on contracts, billing, and compliance. 5) Performance Tracking Track funnel health: leads → meetings → signed → live. Monitor early performance of newly acquired partners: GMV ramp-up, assortment completeness, and availability & cancellations Provide market insights and competitor intelligence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or other related field. 2–5+ years in business development, partnerships, sales, or marketplace roles. Experience in FMCG, retail, supermarkets, or e-commerce preferred. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Comfortable with field sales and partner visits. Data-driven and target-oriented. Understanding of Q-Commerce dynamics is a strong plus.
