This prestigious position offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of cardiac surgical care within an academic medical center renowned for its commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and education. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs/replacements, and other complex interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists to provide comprehensive cardiac care. Participate actively in clinical research and teaching initiatives within the university healthcare setting. Provide expert preoperative and postoperative management and follow-up care to optimize patient outcomes. Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative surgical techniques and protocols. Mentor and train surgical residents and fellows, fostering the next generation of cardiac surgeons. Maintain adherence to hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Board certification or eligibility in Cardiac Surgery. Extensive experience in cardiac surgery, preferably within an academic or tertiary care center. Demonstrated excellence in surgical skill and patient management. Strong commitment to research, education, and clinical excellence. Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Track record of academic contributions (publications, presentations) is desirable.
