This a grant funded contractual position. Job Role / Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: Oversee end-to-end coordination of the outsourced research workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and exit processes, in liaison with the outsourcing vendor; ensure timely contract extensions and closures in coordination with the relevant supervisors and the outsourcing provider; review and verify monthly payroll data, attendance records, and vendor invoices, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely salary disbursement; ensure timely processing of invoices in the system and coordinate with relevant department and vendor for payment updates; coordinate with outsourcing vendor and internal HR to draft, review, and process staff contract agreements and subsequent addendums for project-based workforce, ensuring accuracy, approvals, and proper documentation; upon separation of staff, proceed with the clearance from department after obtaining approvals from relevant stakeholders; facilitate the recruitment process for AKU payroll employees in coordination with HR and project supervisors, including interview scheduling and onboarding support; manage employment contracts for AKU payroll staff, including processing monthly contract extensions and separations in a timely manner; coordinate and manage consultancy contracts as per the requirement of the project. Coordinate for the budgetary approvals, documentation, and payment processing; Support and coordinate staffing plan as per budgets in collaboration with Principal Investigator, HR, Finance and other stakeholders; plan and support implementation of employee engagement activities at departmental level. Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: You should have: Bachelor’s in business administration or equivalent; 2 to 3 years of relevant experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Office; resilience and ability to cope with work pressure; good negotiation and management skills; excellent team player; willing to visit field sites outside Karachi; Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
