About the Role As a Specialist Claims Advocate, you’ll provide expert advice on general insurance policy coverage and guide clients through contentious, complex, or high-profile general insurance claims. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and insurers to deliver best‑ in‑ ‑class advocacy, ensuring our clients receive the right support at the right time. You’ll also play a key role in presenting and promoting Aon’s claims services to current and prospective clients, delivering insights that influence decision making‑ and contribute to overall business success. Some of your responsibilities will include: Conducting specialist claims reviews and providing analysis and insights. Leading claims advocacy on complex, contentious, or high‑profile losses. Presenting and positioning Aon’s claims proposition with clients and prospects. Supporting in‑depth loss analysis and providing insights for business decisions. Defining and executing claim strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders. Providing litigation support and reviewing coverage considerations. Creating case studies and success stories to support colleague and client understanding. Applying operational excellence and driving continuous improvement aligned with Aon’s 3x3 strategy and Aon United principles Skills and Experience that will lead to success: We’re looking for someone who brings deep claims expertise and commercial acumen, and who thrives in a collaborative environment. Key skills and experience include: Previous experience in corporate or commercial general claims advocacy. Strong product and claims knowledge, with experience developing claims strategies. Proven ability to analyse complex losses and provide meaningful insights. Excellent negotiation and relationship b‑uilding skills across clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders.
