The successful applicant will be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, possessing the ability to organise and plan their work. Importantly they will have a passion for realising the potential that Medicines Information services have in supporting patients and healthcare professionals to improve the care and quality of life of people across our region. You must be a team player and able to work with a variety of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be supported through any future training needs including the possibility of undertaking an Independent Prescribing Qualification.
Responsibilities will include: Participating in the enquiry answering service for HCPS from secondary and primary care as well as from patients via our dedicated patient helpline Helping to provide training in Medicines Information for Rotational Band 6 Pharmacists, Pre-Registration Pharmacists and Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technicians from across the region. Contributing to the review and development of the service. Providing a clinical pharmacy service to patients in specified therapeutic areas. The post holder will act as a role model for rotational pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy technician On-call commitments depending on previous experienc
