Actively participating in consultant-led ward rounds to promote and support medicines optimisation, antimicrobial stewardship and effective discharge planning by utilising prescribing skills. Providing an advanced level of clinical pharmacy service to the specialty.
Involvement in education and training of a variety of healthcare professionals including diploma & trainee pharmacists, undergraduates and trainee advanced nurse practitioners. Whilst this post is commissioned to be full time (equivalent of 37.5 hours per week) the service would welcome applications from those wanting a better work life balance.
