Let’s define tomorrow together. Key Responsibilities: The Specialist for Clubs & Lounges plays a key support role in the successful execution of United’s club and lounge projects. This position assists with tracking project progress, preparing documentation, and coordinating across teams to ensure alignment with timelines, standards, and program goals. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, this role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an interest in capital programs, hospitality, or real estate development. Own and maintain project trackers, status reports, and dashboards to ensure real-time visibility and alignment across the lounge program Serve as the primary liaison for collecting project data, schedules, and milestone updates from internal teams and external partners Lead data gathering and synthesis for business cases, funding requests, and executive presentations, ensuring inputs are timely, complete, and aligned with strategic objectives Independently manage small-scale projects or workstreams, ensuring clear scope, timelines, stakeholder coordination, and successful delivery aligned with program goals Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and scalability across lounge program operations, documentation, and reporting workflows Establish and support file structures and version control protocols to maintain document accuracy, accessibility, and collaboration efficiency Please note: This is a Chicago-based hybrid role with in-office requirements 50% of the time. This position will also be required to travel up to 30% of the time. Qualifications What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree 1-3+ years’ experience in project coordination, business analysis, or administrative support, ideally in corporate real estate, hospitality, or related field Basic Project Management skills Strong communication skills with attention to detail, the ability to adapt messaging effectively for diverse audiences and stakeholder groups, and proven capability to multitask and manage time effectively across competing deadlines. Proficiency in working with Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project) Eager to learn and grow within a team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality guest experiences Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Lean Six Sigma SS Green Belt Project management Familiarity with generative AI platforms and their practical applications United Airlines is an equal opportunity employer. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
