Identify risks, opportunities and data inconsistencies, and proactively raise these with clear recommendations. Support wider Group P&D deliverables, including Board materials and strategy packs, ensuring outputs are robust, aligned to source systems and clearly support decision-making. Maintain clear documentation and supporting evidence for submissions to support governance and audit requirements. P&D corporate cost control Coordinate the monthly close across P&D, ensuring activities including accruals are completed accurately and on time. Support forecasting and planning cycles, tracking actuals versus plan and explaining variances. Maintain cost data quality in SAP, ensuring correct use of cost centres and WBS structures. Support accurate cost allocation and capitalisation in line with Group policies, including preparation of reallocations and journals where required. Financial systems ownership and process improvement Take day-to-day ownership of Planview as the Group capital reporting system, ensuring data quality, structure and outputs are fit for financial reporting and governance purposes. Ensure alignment between Planview, SAP and reporting outputs, resolving inconsistencies that affect reporting integrity. Ensure compliance with Group financial controls, policies and governance requirements. Provide clear guidance to users on processes, timelines and data requirements, acting as a key point of contact for system-related queries. Identify and implement process improvements by simplifying workflows, standardising templates and reducing manual effort through automation where possible. Stakeholder engagement and delivery support Act as a reliable finance contact for P&D teams, PMOs and Business Finance, providing clear guidance on processes and expectations. Coordinate inputs across stakeholders, proactively following up and escalating issues where required to deliver outputs on time. Take ownership of queries and issues through to resolution, working with the appropriate teams.
