CSCM is responsible for end-to-end procurement and supply chain management across key spend categories and business stakeholders. We are looking for a high caliber and experienced procurement professional to join our team. Job Overview The role reports to the Assistant Manager of CSCM Purchasing and MDM Team and supports the delivery of procurement value through a combination of sound purchasing knowledge and practical AI-enabled process improvement across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Master Data Management (MDM) landscape. You will help maintain high-quality master data and catalogues, partner with internal stakeholders to understand pain points, and translate them into practical solutions (e.g., AI-assisted knowledge retrieval, guided buying, exception handling and process analytics). * Support supplier onboarding and qualification, and help streamline intake through standardized templates, checklists and automation where appropriate * Perform Master Data Management (MDM) activities in Oracle (creation/maintenance/validation) and implement data quality controls (rules, checks, dashboards) to reduce rework and downstream invoice/PO exceptions * Manage procurement catalogues and item attributes to support a strong user experience (e.g., clean descriptions, correct classifications), and contribute to guided buying improvements such as AI-assisted search, FAQ content and buying channels * Support purchase order (PO) processing and lifecycle management with emphasis on exception prevention and resolution (3-way match issues, blocked invoices, missing data) and identify opportunities for workflow automation * Support replenishment and spot-buy activities by preparing basic analysis (e.g., spend, demand signals, lead time trends) and helping the team make data-informed decisions * Support contract setup in Oracle and improve contract data completeness (key terms/metadata). Where applicable, assist with AI-enabled extraction/summarization pilots to accelerate review and retrieval * Support expedited purchase requests by triaging requirements, validating data, and proposing faster paths (catalogue alternatives, standard items). Contribute to agentic workflow concepts for intake, routing and status updates * Support sustainability efforts by keeping supplier and item data accurate and complete, and by incorporating required attributes for responsible procurement reporting * Assist in identifying potential supply chain and supplier risks by consolidating relevant data and supporting screening/monitoring approaches (e.g., rule-based checks, basic analytics and AI-assisted reviews where approved) * Provide support to suppliers, buyers and end users by answering P2P/MDM queries, maintaining a simple knowledge base, and contributing to GenAI-assisted self-service content (how-to guides, prompts, reusable answers)   Requirements Competencies & Skills: * AI-first continuous improvement mindset: Identify repetitive work and translate pain points into practical AI/automation opportunities; define a simple problem statement, success metrics and controls * Stakeholder partnership: Work with buyers and end users to map processes, clarify requirements, and drive adoption of improved ways of working (including digital/AI tools) * Communication & change enablement: Create clear user guides, quick references and training materials; communicate changes and benefits to different audiences to support successful rollout * Practical GenAI/agentic AI skills: Comfortable using low code/ no code agentic AI tool (preferably Copilot Studio) to draft, summarize and extract information; able to design effective prompts, validate outputs, and apply responsible AI practices (confidentiality, data handling, bias and accuracy checks) * Data & automation skills: Strong Excel skills; exposure to data visualization (e.g., Power BI) and/or basic SQL is a plus. Experience with ERP/P2P systems (e.g., Oracle) and interest in low-code automation (e.g., workflow tools) are desirable * Collaboration & learning agility: Build trust across functions, learn quickly, and take ownership to deliver outcomes in a structured and service-oriented environment   Education & Qualifications: * Degree: University/Master/MBA in Business, Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM), Commerce, Engineering, or related fields * Experience: Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement/P2P/MDM and working with ERP systems. Candidates with less relevant experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate practical AI/GenAI use cases (e.g., projects, internships or hackathons) applied to procure-to-pay, master data or invoice/PO exception handling * AI capability (highly desirable): Hands-on experience using GenAI tools in business processes; ability to explain an AI use case end-to-end (problem, data/inputs, workflow, controls, and measurable impact). Exposure to agentic AI concepts (task decomposition, tool use, human-in-the-loop) is a plus * Professional Certificate: Membership and/or qualification from a procurement professional body (e.g. CIPS, ISM or equivalent) would be advantageous * Language: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a distinct advantage for working with a diverse set of stakeholders ABOUT CLP CLP was founded in Hong Kong in 1901, at a time when electricity was still a novelty worldwide.
