Working Location: Hung Hom office Employment Duration: 24 months The Commercial & Supply Chain Management (CSCM) function under CLP Power Hong Kong Limited oversees the operating company’s circa HKD 20 billion annual expenditure with 1,200 suppliers across 50 categories of spend. CSCM is responsible for end-to-end procurement and supply chain management across key spend categories and business stakeholders. We are looking for a high caliber and experienced procurement professional to join our team. Job Overview This role directly reports to the Head of Direct Procurement under the Direct Procurement Team within CSCM, focusing on supporting team operation and procurement and category strategy execution to achieve organizational goals. This Hong Kong-based position has dual duty of procurement specialist and administrative assistant to ensure alignment between operational execution, stakeholder requirements, and supplier performance. You will contribute to supporting team administration, data analysis, dashboard maintenance, digital tool supercare, fostering collaboration, and supporting the delivery of impactful outcomes. Responsibilities Support the business operations of Direct Procurement, focusing on operational excellence, supplier management, and collaboration to achieve category and business objectives. As Procurement Specialist: Category Strategy Execution – Assist in implementing category strategies by gathering data, addressing operational requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve procurement goals Business Partnering – Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and provide input to the development of procurement strategies that support category-specific and organizational objectives Procurement Process Support – Assist in supplier evaluations, tender execution, and the preparation of Supplier Negotiation Plans to secure favorable outcomes Market Intelligence – Gather and report market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and maintain an organized supplier database for accessibility Data Analysis– Maintain project pipeline and dashboard to support project implementation and reporting. Support supplier KPIs tracking and contribute to SRM initiatives Oracle superuser – Act as oracle superuser to support team for training, utilization and issue resolution As Administrative Assistant: Team Administrative Support – Provide administrative support to the Head of Direct Procurement and the respective Business Partnering teams, including diary management, arranging meetings, taking minutes, preparing presentation materials, administering team member’s on-boarding process, purchasing office supplies and organizing office equipment maintenance Documentation – Create and maintain an effective document management system and properly handle sensitive / confidential information Activities organization – Plan and organize company activities and initiatives, co-ordinate internal and external trainings, seminars and workshops Requirements Competencies & Skills: Analytic Thinking – Analyze market trends and operational data to support strategy development and alignment with business goals Problem-Solving – Support to deliver data-driven solutions using analytical tools and critical thinking Stakeholder Engagement – Communicate complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and decision-making Collaboration & Influence – Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and resolve operational challenges Technical Proficiency – Utilize Oracle Cloud (SCM), Power BI, and reporting tools to analyze data and optimize workflows Interpersonal Agility – Build trust and foster relationships through adaptive communication and a solutions-oriented approach Education & Qualifications: Degree: University degree in Business, Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM), Commerce, Engineering, or a related field Experience: Minimum 2 years in procurement, supply chain and/or commercial roles with relevant category expertise Professional Certification: Membership/qualification from a recognized procurement body (e.g., CIPS, ISM) is a plus Language: Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a strong advantage
