Responsibilities include improving configuration and change management processes, ensuring data transfer between PLM and ERP systems, and managing our Business Management System. The role requires collaboration across departments and supports process efficiently in global operations. What You Will Do Configuration & change management Collaborate closely with R&D subject matter experts across North America and China, and support production operations in Mexico (Tijuana). Ensure accurate and efficient data exchange between PLM and ERP systems to support end-to-end operational efficiency Own and continuously improve configuration and change management processes, including leading targeted improvement initiatives and projects. Actively participate in Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring cross-functional alignment, completeness, and high-quality execution. Manage materials (parts and end items), BOM structures, and lifecycle states across multiple systems in accordance with established business requirements. Ensure change-related tasks are completed on time and to defined business and quality standards. Lead and/or contribute to configuration, change management, and supporting systems improvement projects. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze complex datasets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure consistency across systems and platforms. Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and proactively define and implement corrective actions. Serve as a data analysis resource for reporting and dashboard development to support operational and management decision-making. Business Management System (BMS) Ownership Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Business Management System (BMS). Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective system usage and process adherence. Develop and deliver training on the BMS and associated business processes. Consult with relevant departments to ensure required documentation is complete, compliant, and aligned with company standards. What You Need to Be Successful Bachelor’s degree with a preference for technical manager, economics or other relevant to the role. 3+ years of working in an RnD environment. Familiarity with PLM systems, preferably Windchill. Strong process orientation with problem-solving skills. Critical thinking and ability to make decisions. Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment while also being proficient in handling monotonous tasks. High-level proficiency of MS Excel, Power BI. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required, with experience operating across global teams in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent presentation skills. Bonus Points if You Have Experience in supporting R&D and manufacturing environments. Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) Experience in business management systems (BMS). Proficiency in creating and maintaining flowcharts.
