As a Specialist/Consultant Medical Physicist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation in medical settings. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing imaging and treatment techniques, enhancing patient safety, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform quality assurance tests on imaging and treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate radiation physics Provide consultation on radiation safety and effective utilization of medical imaging technology Conduct training sessions for healthcare personnel regarding radiation safety and equipment usage Stay informed on the latest advancements in medical physics and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to radiation therapies and imaging techniques Medical physics degree (MSc or PhD) from an accredited institution Certification by a recognized body in medical physics Proven experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Physicist In-depth knowledge of radiation safety, imaging techniques, and treatment protocols Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with healthcare teams Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently Commitment to patient safety and continuous professional development Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and radiation therapy equipment Private Health Insurance Training & Development Performance Bonus
