In this role, you will provide specialized dental care to children, ensuring their comfort and promoting lifelong oral health from an early age. As a Specialist/Consultant Pediatric Dentist, your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating dental issues in infants, children, and adolescents. You will implement preventive measures and educate families on best practices for maintaining oral health, all while working to create a fun and welcoming environment for young patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for pediatric patients Formulate individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings Perform a variety of procedures, including preventive and restorative treatments Utilize child-friendly techniques to manage anxiety and discomfort during dental visits Educate parents and children on oral hygiene and preventive care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) Completion of an accredited pediatric dental residency program Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry preferred Active dental license in the state of practice Demonstrated experience in pediatric dental care Strong communication skills, particularly in relating to children and their families Empathy and patience to create a positive dental experience Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of care A collaborative approach to working with a diverse healthcare team Desire to participate in ongoing education and community outreach initiatives Salary + Additional Benefits
