Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and diagnostic imaging to formulate treatment plans. Perform comprehensive surgical interventions on the spine, utilizing both traditional and minimally invasive techniques. Manage pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure recovery and rehabilitation processes align with best practices. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and team effectiveness. Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care requirements. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, procedures performed, and follow-up care instructions. Stay informed about the latest advancements in spine surgery and implement new techniques as appropriate. Medical degree (MD or DO) with an active and unrestricted medical license. Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurological Surgery with a specialization in spine surgery. Extensive experience in performing a range of spinal surgeries and managing complex spine conditions. In-depth knowledge of spinal anatomy, surgical techniques, and rehabilitation practices. Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with other medical professionals. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate leadership in a clinical setting. Strong analytical skills with a focus on patient-centered care and effective decision-making. Commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development in the field. Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver quality care.
