You may have qualifications such as a degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Control Systems Engineering, or trade qualifications in Electrical or Instrumentation. Experience with PLCs (particularly Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 or Studio5000) and SCADA systems like Citect is valuable.

Additional experience that would be beneficial (but not required) includes:

  • TÜV Functional Safety Engineer qualification or equivalent
  • VSD (VVVF) configuration and diagnostics
  • Familiarity with field communication protocols (e.g., DeviceNet, EthernetIP, Profibus, Modbus)
  • Previous control systems experience with Balance Machines (Reclaimer, Stacker & Shiploader), Car Dumper/Load Out, Conveyors and Shuttles.
  • Experience in power transmission, utilities and water treatment plants technologies like RTU’s, XTRANS, Panelviews, WinCC HMIs and Siemens products
  • Previous experience with design and commissioning
  • Exposure to sensors and actuators (variable speed drives, analogue and discrete sensors)

We understand that great talent comes from many backgrounds. If you bring curiosity, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to safety and innovation, we’ll help you build the rest.
