SUMMARY: Responsible for performing cargo bookings, import, export documentation, sales and service functions for targeted market ensuring customer satisfaction and retention within Customer Operations established policies and regulatory requirementsGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate all tasks related to cargo delivery, maintaining record of cargo to be manifested and cleared.
Verify information submitted to ensure documentation and bill of lading process flows according to standards.
Interpret, review and apply appropriate rates to bills of lading based on the applicable tariffs in a timely and accurate manner.
Verify Bills of Lading are completed and invoiced on time with a high degree of accuracy in compliance with appropriate rules and regulations.
Partner with the pricing department to ensure rate requests and verifications are entered and processed correctly at time of bookings.
Receive, reconcile, consolidate documents and customer information.
Prepare and analyze reports related to cargo booking, export and import documentations.
Correct errors, develop leads, recommend process improvements and deliver value added services.
Identify and assess customer needs to achieve customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints offering appropriate solutions within guidelines ensuring customer satisfaction.
Influence and sell customers Crowley value added services and aid in onboarding customers using our Crowley On Line Services products.
Identify and report areas of opportunity for enhancement to existing processes to assist in better meeting the customer needs.

Inform supervisor and manager of any situations that may impact service, cargo delivery at destination and customer satisfaction.QualificationsEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experienceEXPERIENCE: 2 -3 years of related experience in the transportation/logistics industry; prior experience in booking, customer service, documentation or BL revisions is preferred.TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook and ExcelCOMPENTENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
Ability to perform accurately in a detailed oriented environment.

Ability to manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of import forwarding and customs brokerage in a domestic and/or international capacity.
Knowledge of U.S. transportation, DOT regulations and import/export regulations.OTHER: Bilingual (English/Spanish).JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
