Job Title: Specialist, Cyber IT Systems Administrator Job Code: 30198Job Location: Plano, TXSchedule: 9/80 REG – Off Every Other Friday Job Description: As a Cyber IT Systems Administrator, you will perform complex technical tasks supporting Windows, VMware, and RHEL computing environments. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team setting, contributing to the design, development, testing, and validation processes through production. You will leverage industry-standard automation tools to engineer solutions that align with current and future program objectives. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating vendor products and provide strategic recommendations for purchases that support both the organization’s short- and long-term goals. The position also involves developing and implementing infrastructure policies, ensuring strict adherence to security procedures, and communicating across the organization to influence and improve practices, processes, and methodologies. You will play a key role in driving process, system, and product improvements while contributing to the development of new initiatives and executing operational plans that deliver measurable business impact. Essential Functions: •    Management of complex projects or processes with general oversight and providing mentorship and training to team members.•    Works with team members to identify and mitigate risks to successful product integration.•    Utilize automation tools for rapid system deployment and patch management.•    Engineer improvements to current systems and processes; Plan and execute automation of system activities.•    Maintain security compliance leveraging suite of security tools.•    Define the system, upgrade plans and make ready for future addition with minimal disturbance. •    Perform work in accordance with established IT System. Administration/Engineering, user, security, and regulatory requirements (JSIG, NIST 800 series, and DOD Manuals volume 1-4, etc.•    Assist with engineering improvements to current systems and processes; Provide support in planning and execution of system automation.•    Track and present technical performance metrics for IT systems.•    Thorough management of documentation.•    Interface with development teams to determine future growth needs.•    Support the maintenance of the IT systems.•    Present design reviews to relevant stakeholders.•    Participate in proposal activities (both cost and technical).•    Execute the automation strategy; deliver products that represent workflows.•    Works with team members to identify and mitigate risks to successful product integration.•    Develop, track and present technical performance metrics for IT systems.•    Perform root cause analysis of system failures.•    Execute duties with little oversight; proactively looking to improve areas of deficiency.•    Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and any additional clearances as required. •    Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.•    Up to 10% travel may be required.•    Performs other duties as required and assigned by senior leadership. Qualifications:•    Active DoD Secret clearance with current 6-year update with ability to obtain Top Secret.•    Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.•    Must obtain 8140 Certification (Security+ etc.) within six (6) months of hire.Preferred Additional Skills:•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.•    Experience with scripting and/or automation (i.e. PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).•    Experience with networking concepts (i.e. subnetting, protocols, WAN connectivity, virtual networks).•    Working knowledge of virtualization environments such as vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, etc.•    Experience in Special Access Programs (SAPs) and/or Collateral environments.•    Excellent problem-solving skills.•    Experience with industry frameworks and methodologies: ITIL/Agile/Scrum/DevOps/SRE.•    Experience with application containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).•    Experience designing and implementing cloud computing infrastructure.•    Experience with cloud security & governance (i.e. ACLs / Firewalls / Policy).•    Experience using source code repositories like GitHub.•    Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).  #LI-FS1
