Role description
GCP Data Engineer
Location Toronto,Ontario Canada
Primary Python SQL GCP Bigquery
Secondary Containerisation DockerCloud Build Google Kubernetes Engine Google Cloud Scheduler Version Control GIT
Technical Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Flaskbased web application using Python to calculate compensation based on business logic and load the data to BQ Experience with pandas NumPy and google cloud libraries will be an advantage
Write SQL queries TableViewFunctionStored Procedure in BigQuery to store transform and retrieve data support reporting dashboards facilitate data exports and address adhoc data inquiries from the Admin team
Schedule log and monitor jobs using Cloud Scheduler and Logging Monitor
Maintain the Python code for the application using GIT
Conduct unit testing using pytest
Note A strong understanding of SQL and the ability to write Python code utilizing classes and creating packages are the main requirements for this role
