About the role
Join the Enterprise Data Office in the Specialist, Data Steward position. In this role, you will deliver core data governance capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform internal monitoring and continuous improvement of metadata management, data issue management, data quality management, and remediation efforts and demonstrate progress through reporting of KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to regularly intake and respond to business feedback, concerns, and questions related to their data landscape.
  • Lead and play an active role in coordinating, contributing, developing, and presenting content to participants of data stewardship working groups.
  • Advise the business on the application of various data management directives, guidelines and procedures including but not limited to data classification, data quality and metadata.
  • Work with business users and subject matter experts to develop data quality rules and thresholds, and enable data quality monitoring.
  • Work with SMEs and Data Custodians to identify, track and prioritize data issues as well as to assess root cause analysis and apply appropriate remediation.
