Description

Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the Specialist, Demand planning is responsible for collaborating with the various functions of the supply chain to maintain adequate forecasts of pharmaceutical products and ensure availability for customer needs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in administration, Supply Chain or Marketing profile.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a Supply Chain team.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP is required, APO an asset.
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory. Due to the nature of our operations, oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Autonomy.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented and good ability to manage time.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure the efficiency of key processes & ensure compliance with the demand cycle.
  • Manage the accuracy of sales forecast for a portfolio.
  • Interact with Supply Chain & Commercial Groups to understand the various unforeseen factors of the demand.
  • Participate in the development of new processes or current ones to be optimized.
  • Support the team to identify complex deviations.
  • Coordinate reporting activities on forecast performance & trends.
  • Identify/propose/participate in the development of tools to support the Team.
  • Develop and implement non-standard ad hoc analysis.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the BIR process activities (request for increase in demand).
  • Participate from a Supply point of view in the various tender (RFP) activities.
